Ms. Sarah Belal 

Is the director of JPP and leads the legal team. She studied law at Oxford University and became a barrister after completing the Bar Vocational Course in 2007. Sarah received her license to practice in Pakistan and gained the rights of audience in the High Court in 2008. Among others, Sarah received her professional training in Lahore with Azam Nazir Tarrar.

Mr. Douglas H. Lasdon 

Is the founder of the Mission of UJC, which represents the interests of homeless and low-income people through a combination of individual representation, class action litigation, research, and advocacy independent of the court system. It has grown to a seven million dollar annual budget and a staff of seventy-five.He teaches at New York University and previously at Harvard Law School. He has previously worked at The World Bank and at The New York Attorney General office. He attended Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and has a JD from Cornell Law School.

Mr. Azam Nazeer Tarar 

Is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan with a BA from Government College Lahore in 1988, an LLB from Punjab University in 1991 and an LLM from University of Edinburgh in 1994 in Criminal Law. His expertise is in criminal law since Nov. 1994 at Lahore High Court. He was elected Secretary of Lahore High Court Bar Association in 2004-2005 and is an elected Member, Pakistan Bar Council in 2010 to 2015.

Dr. Durre Sameen Ahmad 

Was the Professor of Communication and Culture at National College of Arts Lahore. Visiting Professor CIMIC/Lesius Belgium Chairperson and Senior Research Fellow, Center for the Study of Gender and Culture Lahore. She studied at Columbia University, New York, receiving MA in sociology (1978), communication (1980), and education (1981). She also received her doctorate in communication and education (1983) from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Mr. Belal Ahmad 

Is an entrepreneur, he graduated from GC University Lahore in Urdu Literature and Psychology. He is the owner of Ammar Textile. He is considered to be visionary among other local entrepreneurs. He founded SMEDA in 1988 ,premier institution under the Ministry of Industries to take on the-challenge of developing Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan.

Mr. Ali Munir 

Is the VP, MCB, Strategic Planning and Investments. He has over 30 years of experience with leading international banking and finance institutions. He joined MCB in 1999. In 2005, in recognition of his contribution towards banking reforms in Pakistan, he was awarded with the M.A.Muzaffar Memorial Gold Medal by SBP and the Institute of Bankers. He has a Bachelor degree from Government College Lahore and an LLB from the University of Punjab and is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
